14U Takes the Title at Girl Power!

OSWEGO, NY -- After dropping their opening game to the Rochester Jr. Americans at the 13th annual Mary Gosek Girl Power Tournament, the 14U girls defeated the Binghamton Blizzard and tied the Rochester Edge, setting up a rematch against the Edge in the semi-final. In the semis, the Stars powered their way to a 4-1 lead en route to a 6-2 victory. In the championship game against the home team, the Oswego Lady Buccaneers, the Stars built a commanding 4-0 lead on their way to a 4-1 triumph. Congratulations to the 14U team on winning their second championship of the season!
